Ebony Arrington Steele, born Ebony McGhee, is a seasoned award-winning radio and TV personality with a journalism career spanning over 20 years. However, her true passion lies in the world of pageantry, a love she inherited from her grandmother, Flora Mcghee, who ran the first black Modeling & Charm School in Birmingham, Alabama. From a young age, Ebony found herself immersed in the world of beauty pageants, competing in over 80 competitions earning titles such as Miss Tuskegee University, Miss Gulf Coast, and alumna of the Miss America Organization.

 

In her book, "Queen Be", Ebony shares her journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and breast cancer survivorship through the lens of her life. Drawing on her own experiences and lessons learned, she and other epic queens provide readers with affirmations and guidance to help them embrace their inner queen and conquer any challenges that come their way.
